CAN I PERFORM ABLUTION WITH SEAWATER

Questions 5 :   Can I perform ablution with seawater?

Answer:   Yes. You can perform ablution as well as Janabah Gusl with sea water. There is tradition reported by Abu Huraira that a certain man asked the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) that :
إنَّا نرْكَبُ البحْرَ ومَعَنَا قَلِيلٌ مِنَ الْمَاءِ فَإِذَا تَوَضَّأْنا عَطَشْنَا أفَنَتَوَضَّأُ بِماءِ اْلبَحْرِ؟
فَقَالَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ `` هُوَ الطَّهُورُ ماؤهُ الْحِلُّ مَيْتَتُهُ ''
We sail on the ocean and the we only carry a little amount of water, if we use it for ablution we would go thirsty, can we use the sea water for ablution?
The Prophet (S.A.W) said, It is pure and its dead are lawful  ( they can be eaten without any prescribed slaughtering) '  (Reported by Ahmad).
The tradition is very clear and self-explanatory.
